Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of GEOrge.
Effective 30 April 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GEOrge, a software-as-a-service product operated by Grizzly Travel AI ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing the site at george.hawes.ai, or using the API, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organization (a destination marketing organization, tourism board, or similar entity), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes the organization.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate signup information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at s@hawes.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
Each subscription is for a single organization. Sharing credentials across multiple destinations or organizations violates these Terms.
3. Subscriptions and billing
GEOrge offers a free tier ("Spark") and paid tiers ("Essential", "Professional", "Premium", "Custom"). Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and billed monthly or annually in U.S. dollars at the rates listed at /pricing at the time of purchase.
Renewal: Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not refund partial periods.
Price changes: We may change prices for renewals with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-product banner. If you don't agree, you may cancel before renewal.
Taxes: Prices exclude any applicable sales, value-added, or similar taxes, which we may add and collect where required by law.
Failed payment: If a charge fails, we'll retry per Stripe's standard schedule. Persistent payment failure will downgrade or suspend your account; you remain liable for amounts owed.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, models, or proprietary algorithms from the service.
- Use the service to harass, defame, or unlawfully target individuals, organizations, or destinations.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without our written authorization.
- Send automated traffic that exceeds documented API rate limits or otherwise impairs service for others.
- Resell or sublicense access to the service without a written reseller agreement with us.
- Use the service in violation of applicable laws, including export-control, privacy, and competition laws.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
5. Your data
You retain all rights to data you submit (org configuration, prompts, partner lists, custom keywords). We process AI-response samples generated about your destination as the operator of the service ("operator processing") to deliver the product to you.
You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your data solely as needed to operate the service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data to train third-party AI models.
Aggregated, anonymized statistics derived from many customers (e.g. sector-benchmarking medians) may be displayed in the product. Individual orgs are never named in those displays, and the aggregation respects the opt-in flag described in your sector-settings page.
6. Intellectual property
The GEOrge software, dashboards, methodology (including the GEO Visibility Index), source taxonomy, and documentation are owned by Grizzly Travel AI. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them while your subscription is active.
You may not remove or obscure our copyright, trademarks, or attribution from any export, screenshot, or report you produce.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party LLM provider outages, and infrastructure incidents may temporarily reduce availability. We don't issue uptime credits unless explicitly stated in a separate enterprise SLA.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The GEO Visibility Index, source classifications, and recommendations are analytical estimates based on sampled AI responses. They are not guarantees of real-world tourism outcomes, search rankings, or revenue. Don't rely on them as the sole basis for material business decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility.
9. Termination
By you: Cancel anytime from your billing page. Access continues to the end of the paid period.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. We'll generally give notice and a chance to cure where practical.
On termination, we may retain your data for up to 90 days to allow for export or reactivation, after which we delete it. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive forum for disputes is the courts of British Columbia, Canada, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at s@hawes.ai and try to resolve the matter in good faith for at least 30 days.
